Dear Sir/Madam, there are many reasons as to why you are getting mould in your bathroom but the main one is ventilation every time someone has a shower, so please have a window open or get yourself an extractor fan if you don't have one already. With regards to the silicone, yes you can spray it to get rid of the dirt but really you need to replace it. Hope this helps.

If the black mould is cleaned it will return .
You can remove the silicone with a sharp blade and re silicone with appropriate type. Get advice at hardware store. Or post a job on mybuilder and someone will do it.

First of all don't use abrasive cleaning methods as any marks/scratches in the silicone will increase the mould regrowth. The smoother the silicone surface the harder for mould to take hold.
I use household bleach and kitchen paper towel. Take a piece of kitchen roll and cut into 3 or 4 strips. Fold them lengthways so you have thicker strips about 2cm in width. Pour the bleach over the silicone and place the kitchen roll strips over the bleach so they soak most of the bleach up. Ensure the paper strips are well soaked. This ensures the bleach remains over the silicone. Leave in place for 12hrs (or over night) then remove the paper and wash off any excess. This works for me every time and I advise all my customers as well. Eventually the silicone will need replacing but this method makes the most of the existing silicone. Any loose silicone will need replacing. Good luck.
