Luke warm Water out of bath tap

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.38 PM

Hi, Hot water out of all taps apart from my mixer shower & bath tap. Bath taps are separate. There is not temperature regulator on the bath taps. I’ve tried slowing the rate of water flow to see if the water comes out hot but it still doesn’t. If the toilet is flushed whilst the shower is running the water becomes hot. It is a combi boiler. Looking at only staying in the house another year or so so ideally didn’t want to replace the boiler. Is this a case of a new boiler or is this something else? Thank you.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello A lot of hot water feeds to bath taps were 22mm when tank fed. If that pipe work hasn't been changed to 15mm then the hot water from your combi may be getting diluted by the lower temp water inside the 22mm. Thanks
