Wallrock Thermal lining paper on ceiling

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.38 PM

Anyone had any experience with Wallrock thermal lining paper KV600? My bedroom ceiling is 1930s lathe & plaster with a few cracks/ previous roof leak. High ceilings which take ages to heat. Plaster skimming not worth it. Is the Wallrock ok for ceilings too? Anyone who can share their experiences of it and thoughts of whether it is worth the £ greatly appreciated.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

We have used wall rock products on many jobs including at some of the buildings at Cambridge university it’s a very effective, it’s more expensive than regular lining paper, but well worth the investment. Hope this is of help. Regards Nigel Watts

Good choice for older buildings where wall/ceiling insulation isn't possible. Used it myself with good results. Just follow the instructions & line after application for best results.

Take away the old ceiling and put up new plaster board and then replaster it and then you get a better finish.
