COMBI BOILER COPPER OVERFILL PIPE DISCHARGE -- OPTIONS TO FIT INTERNALLY

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.38 PM

ihave a 15mm copper pipe to take away excess water from the boiler if it is overfilled. it currently goes across all the ohter pipes to exit on an outside wall. This has been curved back inot the wall - however it has become blocked. i wantit to be fitted to discharge internal to the property. is it possible to discharge into the condensate overflow pipe which is fitted inot the sink overflow? My lasy house had the boiler installed in the cebtre of the home and the copper overfole had a "window" unit before it connected to the plastic pipe. What was this installation unit called & is it still OK to have this type of installation ? thank you.

This link below will solve your problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKkzZhNA69U NB: You do not have to install it into a S&V pipe as demonstrated in the video it can also be fitted to existing internal waste pipe with some careful planning and good practical skills. We call this method a Combination boiler PRV and Condense pipe discharge system
