Shower - cold water only due to overheat light

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.54 PM

This morning the overheat light on my Creda shower switched on and I could only get cold water. I have had no previous problems with the shower and I have not noticed any difference in the water pressure. Does anyone know what the cause could be and if this is something I could fix myself?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I think it would be the electronics in the shower and you may need to replace the shower.

Most likely its due to hard water causing limesacle build up on the heating element over time and now its overheated and locked out.
