Gravity fed system, good water pressure downstairs poor in Bathroom upstairs

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.18 PM

Just wondering what I can have done to fix water pressure upstairs, I changed the mixer tap, it improved slightly. But still bad. I've researched pumps. Do all water pumps require an electronic socket? Power shower? If I changed the gravity system, What can I use which gives reliable hot water on demand and high pressure? Just some ideas really thanks

All water pumps require an electric feed, is it the hot water tgats poor pressure upstairs or both? There are a lot of options available to increase pressure but more info would be needed

Do you have good mains pressure? If so you can get a combination boiler or unvented cylinder. Get rid of the gravity fed all together and have good balanced pressure on hot and cold.

Yes all pumps require an electrical point. There are a wide range of whole house pumps available but as said before more information is required to give a accurate solution
