Choosing toilet for bottom outlet 17cm from wall.

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.18 PM

The wall to the centre of the floor outlet is 17cm. So I'm thinking any toilet with a distance to the outlet pipe around 17cm or over will be ok? I'd like the toilet flush to the wall. So I'm thinking a flexi connector will do the trick for these?

No. Use an appropriate selection of Multikiwik connectors fitted properly & you will have a permanent job that will never leak. I cannot say the same for any other connector & IMO those flexi things are trouble waiting to happen. They are simply a money spinner attracting those who lack proper skills,, or are lazy & don't care about a customers best interests down the line. Awful things, best avoided. I only ever use Multikwik & have over 40 years experience. Don't compromise, do the job right.

If you are sitting the toilet over the hole you would be better off with a p shape fitting as a flexi hasn't got a good enough radius.

A flexi tap connector will do the trick, but just be weary, these connectors are prone to splitting and when they do it makes one hell of mess
