My bathroom ceiling light wont turn on by pull cord. After fitting bathroom wall light fitting.

I fit a new light fitting on wall This has 2 live wires 2 blue wires and 2 brown wires i fit theses in the indicated spots in terninal i turned electrics on to check nothing blew note no bulb was in wallfitting at this time and ceiling light still switched on and off from pull cord once i place bulb in fitting the celing light went out and fitting on wall operated from pull cord instead i have since taken away but cant get ceiling light to turn on from pull

You have connected it up wrong, as its back feeding through the lamp, if in doubt contact an electrician.

You definitely shouldn’t be messing about with a light in your bathroom if you don’t know what you’re doing. Stop trying to cut corners at a risk and pay a qualified electrician.

It's quite clear that you need to contact an electrician to configure the wiring correctly. Sound like you have a loop circuit with neutral, line and switched line.
Best advice is to contact a competent electrician.
