Problems with a Shower Pump

I have a Salamander power pump supplying hot and cold water to my shower and bath. I can only get hot water from the pump is when I turn on the cold tap in the bath. What is the cause.

may be filters need cleaning, both inlets on shower, it may be your shower is restrictive not allowing enough flow through pump to activate flow sensers on pump, you may need to fit a negative head pump.
