Russell Derwent roof tiles
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.37 PM
I am trying to find around 200/250 Russell Derwent roof tiles for a planned extension (tiles are no longer produced). Does anyone know where I might get some. I am based in Hampshire (PO8). Many thanks.

You want to check all your local roofing merchants first, then all local building materials salvage yards and demolition companies, sometimes they’re hold on to rear items like theses. Failing that slowly branch out your search, you could try ring up local roofing companies and ask if they have any they would would to sell I know a few local roofing companies in my area that keep hold off out of production tiles for this reason.
Good luck

I would try looking on ebay, as sometimes people have surplus tiles left over from their projects, you can also try getting hold of a sample of a Sandtoft Bold Roll roof tile, as these are almost identical to the Russell Derwent.

Best place I know but is in the Midlands is called Cawardens staff are helpful but they are quite pricey, I had same problem with a discontinued redland tile and this was the only place in the Midlands I could source them from, alternatively trying to match with Sandtoft is a good and probably cheaper alternative.
