Carpets, Lino & Flooring

Hello and thanks for reading, I am laying a quickstep floating laminate floor in a room upstairs. The hallway is carpet. I have been advised to buy a Incizo quickstep door bar to transition from laminate to carpet, but In every video I watch it looks like it's just placed over carpet? Surely something should be put down in place to grip the carpet tight to the floor? Also I think stretching the carpet onto something else into the same position might not work Appreciate any advice! Thanks
Sure there's door bars for carpet laminate. I just can't attach the photo. It needs to be installed first, carpet stretched in and then the first lines of laminate begin from it as it should be also inside the bar.

Incizo bars are adaptable and can provide many different options . Personally we would use the incizo as a squared edged profile fit gripper in correct place upto square edge and refit carpet ( tapping spikes on gripper down once carpet is fitted ) this will provide a better visual between carpet and the quickstep

The cheapest and easiest way out would be to use a Z bar.
