Hole in concrete floor following leak from central heating pipe.

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.37 PM

What can I use to fill a hole in our floor? Original filling seems to be some kind of vermiculite insulation type stuff. What can I safely use to go over water and gas pipes?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As long as the pipes are protected by something such as denso tape which will prevent the pipes from corroding, you can then screed over the hole.

You can fill it with Ardex A45 rapid repair or similar

You just have to fill the hole with concrete again that will be the safe option in my opinion.
