Who is responsible fix holes in the wall

Hi, I trying to find out,who is responsible to fix big holes after the door frames fitters. Joiner said it is not his job, but he made this mess, telling me,that it is old building , brigs fell off and it is not his problem, and I believe he should fix it or find someone else to do it, on his expense. How you can fit a doors on clearly not suitable crambeling wall.

your door fitter created the problem its his responsibility to fix it, I would not be paying him until he had repaired his mess. regardless of the age of the building,
my guess is he has a horse.

if he is a professional then he should fix it and not make it a problem.

I would say it is the fitters responsibility not having seen the job a photo would help
