Where to put underfloor heating thermostat in bathroom

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.16 PM

Thinking about putting underfloor heating in the bathrooms and would like to know if it will be worth it. Also where does the thermostat go, inside or outside the bathroom and is it easy to install? Thanks in advance

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Underfloor heating is worth it. Unless you have a biggish bathroom I’d stick it outside the room near the door. Also worth a think is it’s a special installation (notifiable) so need to be completed by a competent person (registered with NICEIC, Napit etc) or need to inform local authorities about it that ads to the total cost.
