Middle part of a conservatory roof
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.35 PM
Can the middle part of a conservatory roof be replaced? Mine is currently white PVC 'Spikes' which I hate. Can this part be replaced to something with no spikes. What is this part called and how easy / hard is it to replace? Thank you! Ally

It all depends on the manufacturer of the conservatory as the part you are talking about is called a ridge and the spikes bits are called ffinials. Some ridge caps can be replaced for ones that do not have finials. It depends on the type of ridge /conservatory you have

Yes you can slide the decorative cresting off the ridge in most cases and blank off the area

The length along the ridge is called the 'Cresting' with a 'Finial' at each end.
These can usually be slide off of the ridge, depending on the roof manufacturer.
