Covering brown marks on walls and ceiling after fresh plaster

We have just had our dining room and living room re plastered and brownish marks are coming through the ceiling and walls despite being painted three times how do we solve this problem?

paint it with stainblocker paint then paint as normal, regards Terry.

You didn't let the plaster dry properly did you? Only way to stop patches coming through now is stain block,next time leave it to the professionals

You could buy stain away matt from Johnstone's trade paint stores, it's a stain block and a finish in one coat.
