Loft radiators need bleeding a lot since underfloor heating installed on ground floor

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.55 PM

Loft radiators need bleeding a lot since underfloor heating installed on ground floor The pressure doesn't drop and I filled the floor coils myself to flush. There are no cold spots on the floor. Its a 2 loop system (100 & 90metres) Pressure remains constant at 1.8 bar. I only have the radiator and floor water running at 40 degrees

Could be a few issues ie slight leak in floor if consistent. Or simply because floor coils have not been flushed properly and still has air pockets

this could be a leak, it could be as previous answer says air still trapped in floor coils, what type of boiler do you have ?, if a system or combi does pressure go down as well, it may be that expansion vessel on your boiler is undersized and your prv lifts.
