Pipe in boiler room cold and wet
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.55 PM
Hello, I noticed one pipe in my boiler closet (very small space inside my flat) that is considerably cold and is "sweating" water, which is also dripping onto the floor. Why is this happening and is there anything I can do to stop this, and is there any other pipes I need to check and resolve the same way? Thank you very much

Sweating pipes are due to water condensing on the cold pipe surface in a warm closet. A simple answer is to use pipe lagging on the cold feed
