Do i need a isolator switch for an extractor fan

Hi folks ,please can you help me i live in a concrete built maisonette which has a flat roof and i need to know whether i need an isolator switch for the bathroom extractor fan which has no window. thanks steve

Yes you do. Either an isolator or spur depending upon manufacturers instructions

Yes, follow manufacturers advise and for the record, it’s an easy job... that’s what trunking is used for. Some walls will need drilling to allow cables to pass through them from the isolator to the fan. Find yourself a local registered electrician. Regards, Carl.
