Salus repairing with new thermostat

Hi I have a Worcester boiler which was using a Salus ST620 thermostat with the integral rf boiler control. The thermostat went a bit haywire, so I purchased a new thermostat RT510TX+. I cant get the new one to pair though - I put the reciever into pairing mode and likewise the theromstat but it just counts down through the 10 minute pairing window and doesnt pair. Any advice appreaciated - could they be on different rf frequencies? If so ho wdo i adjust? Feels like I have tried everything. Thanks in advance.

I have had one of these do this before we shut down all power for a good 20 minutes and then restarted the process need to ensure that the transmitter after pairing hen goes through the test mode to test the connection and then it worked, may be worth a try if haven’t already
