Metal strips on edge of walls

Should you see the metal strips through the plaster that is put on the edge of the walls for a good finish,. If this is the case the paint won't cover the metal strips what do I do help you can see the metal strips through the new plaster after it has dried is this right

No , any angle/ corner bead shouldn’t be seen through the plaster. I’d would fill ( Easifill) any gaps and then give a light rub down before painting.

The only part of the metal bead is the edge itself, no other part should show through ( if so there's not enough plaster on ) all beads will paint over , preferably cover with a good paint an not watered df own ,take care

If it doesn’t cover use a oil based paint first let it dry then cover with emulsion
