Windows & Door fitting

New dormer windows.

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.37 PM

I have a dormer style property and need really the upstairs windows changed but am very wary about asking a regular everyday window company to quote/ do it.. as is clad and guess wooden frames holding the UVPC windows in. You think I should be wary or regular everyday window will do properly?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I agree with above it can be awkward but still very straight forward as long as it has been measured correctly most dormers are in wood roof etc framesand dont have much window cill on inside which in my opinion makes removing very much easier .the fitting again in my opinion is easier can be tricky from inside but it's all straight forward for experienced window fitter

Hi any experienced and competent fitter should be able to do the with ease.As long as they take care to make sure the fixings are cut free the cladding will be fine.
