How to fix loose bricks round upvc door thats just been fitted

Hi, How would loose part bricks / cracking motar round a newly installed upvc door need to be repaired? There are about 10 in total round two doors.One has been siliconed in ! Thanks for the previous answers by the way.

The best way would to grind out joints and re point or if really loose remove and. Re bed properly and point back in .

The right and proper way is to remove all loose bricks clean all old mortar off the bricks and also where they will be refitted
Remove all dust then relay the bricks.
