Kitchen Fitting

Schmidt Kitchen vs John Lewis vs Ikea

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.37 PM

I need a new kitchen fitted into an extension. Have already designed the kitchen which is built largely around an extractor unit which has been installed into the ceiling (between roof lights). My question is which of the listed suppliers of furniture (Schmidt, John Lewis or ikea) would kitchen fitters recommend for quality and value?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

All depends on budget in my opinion. There will be a big difference in price between ikea and John Lewis for sure...I'd get quotes and visit showrooms..it really is down do personal preference and budget

I’ve fitted John Lewis kitchens, and I now fit Schmidt kitchens and would recommend Schmidt kitchens now as a far better quality

Ikea is a budget kitchen , cabinets and doors are thinner, their look is altogether cheaper. John Lewis obviously don’t make kitchens themselves so why pay more to a middle man. I would recommend Howdens for quality, value for money and choice.
