Hi,
There is no tolerance for a window to be fitted out of square and not plumb. If the aperture is out of square then this should be identified on the initial survey and allowance made on new window (made smaller) so it can be fitted square in the opening. As for out of plumb, there is no valid reason for not putting a level on it when installed.
Hope this helps. 👍

Hi
There is no official tolerance.
As long as the windows open easily and the frames don’t look out of square, then it would be acceptable.
If your not happy, get the fitter back and show him the parts that you don’t like.
Give him the chance to rectify it first.
If your still not happy then go to Fensa or Certas.
He should be a member of either one .
If that fails then Trading standards should be the route you go down.
Good luck
