Cinderblock demo but main gas line runs through it
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.36 PM
We have just moved into a house that has a decent sized utility area. Unfortunately that area is eaten into by an old bin store (we believe that’s what it was) on the other houses on our street you can see there is a door that you can access this area from outside however ours is closed off which is why we went it gone The problem is that above this store is the gas meter and the main gas pipe runs into the inner most corner of the store. As such we aren’t sure what type of tradesman we would need to demo the cinderblocks. Would be grateful for any advice and indication of standard pricing

Get the gas supplier out to look at it. You probably. Need a Gase engineer.

You need a gas technician first and a bricklayer layer for the block work
