Insulation

Half brick half render?

Hi, looking to get my semi externally insulated with rendering. Looking to get all walls done. Front facade im thinking to leave half in brick for character etc and only render top half. I live in solid wall property so quite cold at times. Would rendering only top half on front facade be pointless? Shall I do all or nothing?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I wouldn't personally say that the render would be much use as isolation. Do you have cavities or is is solid?

Hi if you are going to install a ewi System then it needs to be a complete System to be effective. if you want to keep a brick detail do those areas in a brick slip over the insulation You would not no its not real brickwork We use the weber systems for our ewi Projects they will also give advice Good Luck Ken
