Dual fuel towel rail switch turning power shower off

Hi would appreciate some advice with our problem. We seem to have developed a fault somewhere on the bathroom circuit. We’ve discovered the fused switch to turn the dual fuel towel rail on to electric is also effecting the power shower. Sometimes when the rad is on the shower won’t work. Sometimes when the rad switch is flicked on and off the shower will then work. Today can’t get shower to work regardless of towel rad switch position. We’ve checked fuses and shower switch but completely puzzled as to why the rad switch also seems to be somehow effecting the electric supply to the power shower. Any ideas what’s going on here? What needs to be done to fix it? Thanks J
