Would an Electrician be able to fit/source Burgler Alarm as well as new Smoke Detector?

Possibly a silly qsn but is it usual to expect an Electrician to fit/source Burgler Alarm as well as new Smoke Detector?

Domestic smoke / heat / CO detection can easily be installed and certified by an electrician. Same with security. If you’re talking commercial, then your insurance will stipulate the requirements. Regards, Carl.

If they have the right training and registrations they can. Most security systems require in house training for the warranty to be valid. They all have different regulations, smoke alarms and burglar alarms are normally installed by an electrician with a few extra qualifications.
