Bathroom Fitting

En-suite shower room above tank level

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.33 PM

Hi, we are looking at a house with an attic conversion in place. The ideal scenario would be to put an en-suite up there too but the tank(s) seem to be in a cupboard half way up the stairs. Would it still be possible to put bathroom facilities above the tank height? TIA.

yes but hot and cold services will need to be pumped with a negative head pump.

I would suggest tap off mains cold supply for an electric shower. Then a dual negative head pump to serve WC basin. Relatively easy to install.

I would use an electrical shower with mains fed water and a pump for the hot water
