Cracks in concrete garage floor.

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.33 PM

Hi, in my garage the concrete floor has cracked and one side has dropped, creating a small step... about 1cm. I'm going to epoxy-paint the floor, but before I do I'd like to sort-out the crack. Is it best to fill it with an epoxy/polyurethane filler, then angle-grind the 'step' into a slope? OR create a slope between the 2 levels with cement (or something) so I won't have to grind it? If the latter, what would you suggest I use please?  (I've thought of laying self-levelling concrete over the whole floor, but that is over-the-top for what I need). Kind regards,  Mike.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
