Sinele brick wall between toilet and bath

Hi all I have on single Brick wall that’s in between bath and toilet , I need to remove that and make sure it is not load - bearing wall . the above flat seems to have the same brick wall On the same position as our one . Can someone help me with this answer. Thank you

You could put a small lintel in directly under upstairs wall
Then you would be alright to take away your wall.

Yes.. since the brick skin continues all the way to your upstairs neighbours you will have to install steel to support load above to form your bigger room..

If you tap load bearing wall with a metal spoon it make different sound to non load bearing wall. If you can do this test it is safe to ask upstairs flat to vacate their premises.

Firstly I suggest cutting a small hole in the ceiling to see if there is brickwork continuing through the void on to upstairs. If there isn’t then the wall is not load bearing and you can remove it. If there is then you will need to involve an engineer to do calculations on the loading and he/she will tell you what lintel/steel and bearing you will need.
