Yes always possible, sadly all materials and traffic would have to come through the house. No problem it can be done.

It is possible, however it is a little more difficult. You would have two options in this scenario, one would be to bring all the materials through the property by hand and the other would be to crane the materials over the property. Both will incur extra costs but it would be possible.

Find alleyway axis to go back side

It is possible to extend but the price rise due to the access limitations may out weigh the benefits of extending in the first place. Ie labour spent on trafficking the materials through the house, added floor protection etc or hiring of a crane, again might have access issues with a crane it’s not unheard of. Also would need to consider the size of extension and if scaffolding is required, length of any beams etc lots to consider! We have been in scenarios where clients have a good relationship with neighbours who might have have a solution that you can use but this would all depend if that option is available to you.
