My fuse box as a 3 fuses 30 amp 5 amp and a 15 amp.and on the box states total loss not to exceed 60amps. The cat no is 304ivy. Bs 5486 pi13. Would this be fine. As the wireing is coming out of the box is appx 10mm.

An electrician should attend and assess your system. It sounds like you will most likely need to upgrade your fuse box to a modern consumer unit which can handle a higher current demand. You really don’t want to put a brand new oven on circuits that old without an Insulation Resistance Test. It may cause damage to the oven and the system costing more in the long run.

No, you need to have your fuse board upgraded, or have a separate 30 mA RCD unit installed with a 50 A OCPD, along with transferring that 10.0mm circuit to it. Have an electrician attend, advise and install. Regards, Carl.

If you look on the cooker for a plate with the ratings in kilowatts, that will be the rating. 45A equates to 10.35kW, that is a mighty big cooker!
