Is the tradsmans provides work guerenty on theirs contracts ?

It’s up to them. They don’t have to provide a warranty any longer than 30days by law. And they never have to provide a guarantee. I would say a 1 year warranty is typical and 5 years is good. There is a law that gives consumers the right to a 6 year warranty but that is for the goods not the services.

A guarantee with a builder is only as good as the person or people that you are dealing with! Don’t trust a piece of paper! Ask for references and also ask for a viewing of previous work completed check previous work customer and ask all the questions on your mind! Then you can make an informed decision.
