How many packs of 3 square metres of flooring are required?

How many packs of flooring are required for a room sized 24ft 9 by 14ft 6 if one pack measures 3 square metres please? Thank you - Patsy Jawo

Hi that works out at 32 square metres so 11 packs.Regards John Rounding up measurements fine if using cheap laminate.what if its solid oak flooring running at 40- 50 pound/meter could be 300 pound wasted if ordered in and none returnable.exact measurement is 33.3 metres, 24ft 9 is 7.540, 14ft 6 is 4.420, do the maths

Yes agreed 13 packs 14 to be sure if any odd cuts etc. Round up your totals to give you 25 x 15ft then convert to meters and round up again to give you 8 x 5m and times together to get your area 40 square meters. One pack is 3sq meters so 40/3 = 13.3. Total 13-14 boxes.
