hole (1cm wide approx) in toilet bowl (above water line) caused by object falling off shelf

Hi everyone, just wondered if I can temporarily fix this with an epoxy putty / resin so that we can flush the toilet and use it infrequently until I can get a new toilet bowl fitted? very annoyed, but accidents happen. Thanks in advance, mark

Hi, You can try this and it may work for a short amount of time, however I would look at using milliput (plumbers putty) this would also be a temporary fix. I would recommend that you change the toilet asap to avoid any further cracking and avoid the leak causing water damage to your property.
