Wall Starter Kits

Starter ties should always be drilled in to the brick / Block or concrete where possible, if the brackets / brick ties are not fitted correctly they will have no structural integrity, Adam wood

I advise every fixing to be fixed Into the brick/block work and definitely not a bed joint, also make sure the ties he fitts are correct way up and also every 2 corse of blocks, 6 corse bricks furthermore I hope exspantion foam is used up the joint for movement pointing will just fall out

Wall starters should be drilled into masonary ie brick or block There is no top or bottom so as long as fixed properly no problem It is important that your builder cuts and installs a vertical dpc in the centre of cavity as this acts as a stop for moisture .not having this will cause you problems later down the line

The wall starter kit can be used either way so being “upside down” is not an issue at all. Preferably they should be drilled into brick work but a decent cemented joint will also suffice randomly. As long as the wall starter kit is tight to the wall After insertion, it should be fine with no issues after. Hope this helps.
