Hi, Do i need to have a gas engineer in order to remove a gas cooker or can i do this myself and if so how easy is it ??

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Safest option would be to have a gas engineer remove it.

Does it have an isolator? Normally tucked away somewhere along the pipe just in reach. If so you can just switch it off then cap it. Im not sure of the legality or your capabilities, might be better to get a gas engineer.
