Removing and replacing render in late September/ October

Hi. The render on the front of my house is blown (and a big patch removed). Is It (end September) too late to instruct someone to remove the render and apply coloured render, please? I'm getting mixed messages from those happy to quote and someone saying to leave it until March. Thanks PS - in case it matters, it's the entire front elevation of a 3 bed semi and it will all need to come off. Contractor's concern was bricks getting wet and then the new render cracking. To be fair, other neighbours have had problems with render cracking, but I'm not sure when theirs was done.

With sand/cement render being subject to tempatures too hot/cold it should be ok up untill November as long as no frost or severe cold weather is forecast. Otherwise the following spring would be next best time.

Coloured render can have accelerator added so it can be finished same day so it’s absolutely fine to render throughout winter as long as it’s dry weather of course Temperatures must be above 5 degrees I do a lot of external rendering and on old walls I always use a rendaid basecoat with a full mesh system to prevent any cracking

For any type of render the temperature should be at least 3 degrees and rising.as long as this is the case then all renders should be fine to apply.

I would look into doing it with k rend which is a silicone based render and comes in different colours And different textures more expensive but It’s the end of blowing render with the frost.try the internet for your local k tend specialist
