Unable to fit the kitchen sink where I originally planned
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.14 PM
I’m unable to fit my kitchen sink where I planned originally because if the location and availability of feed and drainage pipes. Due to this problem, I need to now move my sink 20 cm left or right . Can someone please advise what is the best solution. As I’m doing up my kitchen does this mean that fixing kitchen cabinets are have to wait. I plan to have the dishwasher and washing machine below the sink. Thanks in advance for your advice, Regards Maria

You won’t be able to have dishwasher or washing machine directly under the sink as there is not enough height under the sink you can use a 600 unit for the sink if a standard sink drainer and have one or the other of the appliances under the drainer

The pipework for the sink hit/cold feed and waste need to be extended before the vase unit is fitted. If only 200mm its not a big job but needs to be done first. You said you want to fit a washing machine or dishwasher directly under the sink. This isn't possible as you need the full height to the counter for appliances and the sink and waste outlet would be in the way. You need to redesign the layout. Hope this helps.
