blocked toilet with toilet paper

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.14 PM

I have a toilet that is blocked with too much paper. Kids eh? But I cannot get it to flush it away. Water in the pan is slow to ebb away. Takes about an hour. Any magic answers please?

Chuck a bucket of water down it. Plunge it. Chuck another bucket of water down. Repeat until unblocked.

The reason is deeper than the solution of throwing water and hoping to unblock it. The waste has no proper falling or it has any object which doesn't allow the paper pulp going through. It need to remove toilet check it through and then decide on the outcome

Hi. The bucket of water method does work most of the time but if it doesn’t, then you have a flooded bathroom floor. I use a chemical drain unblocker called Maddog which is available from TP. £20 for a 1 Ltr tub. Pour 200ml down and leave for half an hour minimum Works for me every time
