Do internal window sills come as standars with replacement windows?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.14 PM
We had three windows replaced today, I was looking forward to lovely new window sills to go along with the new windows (that look great), but they haven't been done. Is this a separate job not done by window fitters?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi when we replace any windows we always change the window sills as standard practice, it is a window fitters job to do so. I don’t know why the sills haven’t been replaced when replacing the windows as it can all be sealed up and finished at the same time. Possibly it wasn’t quoted for when you had the quote of the fitter ?
