Gap in guttering where there is a corner join - is this correct?

Hello, I have just had some old cast gutters replaced with new uPVC. They seemed to do a good job, and they are coming back on Monday to replace a downpipe for next door. However at one of the corner joins, it seems like one of the lengths was too long, so there is a gap where it has had to bend around the corner. Is this normal due to off the shelf materials, or should it not be like this? I'm concerned about water running off the roof and straight down the side instead of in the gutter. It doesn’t look 100% correct from the picture. However, if the gutter has been installed where the water falls off the tiles into the gutter, it might be ok, because of the detail around the corner of the roof and lack of facia to attach brackets. If they are coming back, I would ask for a clarification photo to show that the water will fall into the gutter correctly. Any decent contractor would be happy to prove their installation was correct.

It does look like one length of guttering is too long and pushing the other away from the roof.
