solar panels on flat roof

My flat roof has solar panels on it. How much of an issue is that when repairing the roof? Do they have to be removed? Will the roofer take responsibility for that?

It would mean getting an electrician to disconnect and reconnect the panels. This might sound like a pain and an expense but there are many companies that specialise in both Solar Panels and Roofing.
For the right company it would be very simple stuff.
