Plumbing a new fridge freezer for

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.33 PM

Hi - do I need to get a plumber to put a water line in before the American fridge is delivered or after ? also the fitted dishwasher is in between the sink and where the fridge will be - is it still possible as I am not sure where they would put the water line? Thanks in advance

From what you have described it should be simple enough to cut a tee into your existing under sink pipework, fit an isolation valve and run your fridge supply from there. It is usually a small bore flexible hose, 6mm or 8mm, so should be possible to install around your current set up.

Hi, your water line is connected to the mains supply. It can be run to the fridge once it has been delivered and sited into place, though depending on quickly you can get the services of your local plumber, this may delay its installation. However if the plumber has to run the water supply to where the fridge is to be sited, and then have to return to connect it once the fridge has been delivered, could prove to be more expensive as this will involve two visits by him. Arrange delivery of the fridge and at the same time arrange for your plumber to come over and install it on the day of delivery.

Ηello it's easy i beleve because you can cut and fit a tee ander the sink. So after they delivery your fridge ,supply pipe is 0,8 so you can pass it behind and dishwasher and connect it under the sink.
