Refurbishment of a three bedroom house posted by: leannemd123 Hello, I am looking to possibly purchasse a three bedroom terraced house in Blaydon upon tyne. The property is in need of a lot of work, the current owner started the refurbishment but gave up. I do not have specifics unfortunately and I am aware that you are not able to give an exact quote but I would still really appreciate a rough estimate. The work that needs to be done is; New combi boiler Double glazing throughout the house, which would be living room, dining room, kitchen, landing, three bedrooms and the bathroom. New carpet in lounge, stairs, landing and three bedrooms (two double bedrooms & one single box room) Partition wall to be finished in living room/dining room Plastering in the lounge & dining room Small partition wall to be removed in kitchen and a toilet New kitchen to be installed, inc appliances Property also needs doors into lounge, kitchen, three bedrooms & bathroom Thank you in advance

Hi there, Ball park figures for the work are circa as follows: - new combi boiler, fitted £6,000 - double glazing for the whole property £4,000 - new carpets throughout £4,000 - partition wall built, rendered and plastered £1,000 - plastering work £1,500 - small partition wall removed £250 - new kitchen all in, medium spec £12,000 - new doors throughout (standard, not bespoke) £800 So all in you're looking at it costing around the £30,000 mark. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Wayne Snoulton Director Heritage Property Development Solutions
