PLastic Pipe in wall for central heating

I have been advised not to bury plastic pipes in the wall (for central heating), as they will expand and contract, damaging the plaster, is this correct?

Plastic pipes and central heating should always be allowed to expand, if they are not allowed to expand they can cause stress on the joints which will cause leaks.

There are no regs on bury plastic pipes in the walls, plastic is easier to work with but I pre to use Cooper pipes as much as I possible.

The pipework cannot be bedded into the fabric of the building but could be contained in a larger plastic pipe channelled into the wall to enable replacement. Any fittings must be accessible. See - Water Regulations - Schedule 2 - Paragraph 7.
