Toilet door opens to the Living room

Hi everyone, We have a mid terrace house. The toilet and bathroom are in the living room. Next to the lounge is the kitchen. The kitchen will face the garden. This arrangement (I saw in a number of houses where the toilet was built underneath the stair) having a toilet downstairs was built in older houses. Although, there is an extractor fan, but I think, this arrangement is not great. The fan extractor will extract the air to the garden. I would like to ask how can we modify the arrangement of the toilet so we have more air into the toilet.Please see the photo. https://photos.app.goo.gl/jGw7fxkjaWU5yk9K6 Should we buy a more powerful extractor ? Hi Neil, It sounds like you will need to install a return fresh air fan, this will provide fresh air into the bathroom (I'm assuming has no window) alongside your extractor fan which is extracting stale air from the bathroom. This would provide a good circulation to the area of concern. Regards, Neil

without actually looking at the room in question I wold say add a window or cor drill a hole and fit a new fan both these jobs can be achieved by a trade person
