Undercoat for paint

Hi could anyone suggest a good undercoat paint for wood?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I would always go for Dulux undercoat as I find crown and a few others too oily

Benjamin moore wood primer is my go to, although it is a bit pricey but the product itself goes a lot further than your usual standard undercoats

To awnser that question depends on what paint you are going to finish the job with. If its an oil based finish then stick to oil based undercoats from the same paint company. If water based finish then same advice, same system.
I only use water based trim paints now, tikkurilla being my preference
